Texas Clubs Present Addy Awards

Regional advertising clubs presented Addy awards last month in Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas.

In Houston, Fogarty Klein Monroe won best of show in the broadcast category for its Conoco work. The newly opened office of J. Walter Thompson earned best of show in print for Shell Lubricants as well as a special judges award for The Broken Spoke. Rives Carlberg topped the list of Houston honorees with 17 Addys and a special judges award for creative director Ray Redding’s “Day of the Dead” photographic exhibit series and its accompanying promotional pieces.

In San Antonio, The Thompson Agency received overall best of show for its Texas Cradle Society poster, as well as the top print prize for the San Antonio Children’s Museum.
