BOSTON Technomatix has hired Topaz Partners for public-relations chores.

The client, a provider of manufacturing management software, looks for the shop in Boston to help promote its eMPower product line in the b-to-b space, targeting decision markets at large national and global corporations.

Spending will be in the six figures, and the assignment is important for the client because it has no ad agency relationship at this time, so PR support becomes increasingly essential.

“Now that their (products) have been around for a while, there’s also an opportunity to highlight customer success stories” in upcoming publicity initiatives, said Topaz representative Ian Stanton.
