CANNES, France—The U.S. has won its second Grand Prix of this year's Cannes Lions festival, with TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles earning the top prize in the Press Lions contest for its magazine ads for Apple's iPad mini.
The ads, released late last year, were placed on the back covers of several national magazines—including Time, Wired and The New Yorker. They showed the tablet at actual size, with its display featuring the actual front cover of that issue of the magazine.
