SAN FRANCISCO Sybase is ending its run with Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos.

The database software company in Dublin, Calif., confirmed on Friday that it has sent the San Francisco office of the Interpublic Group shop a letter of intent to terminate the relationship, which will end in about 90 days.

“The reason we terminated is not because we were unhappy with the quality of the work,” said Pamela George, Sybase svp, corporate affairs. “We decided not to do any more print advertising for the remainder of the year” and did not wish to keep the agency on retainer, she said.
