BOSTON American Skiing Co.’s Steamboat resort offers up consumer testimonials in a national print push that introduces the tagline “This is my Steamboat.”

The ads from the independent shop Via in Portland, Maine, recount vacationers’ personal experiences and portray the resort as more than just a place to ski. The emphasis is on the multi-faceted family experience the facility in Steamboat Springs, Colo., attempts to provide.

“It’s not just about vertical, or snow depth or half pipes,” said Via creative director David Abend.
