Software Supplier Puts DWP/Bates In Review Finals

DWP/Bates Technology has advanced in the review for J.D. Edwards’ $25-30 million creative and media account.

According to client representative John Sawyer, the Atlanta agency, which recently opened a satellite office in Irvine, Calif., will compete with finalists Deutsch/LA in Marina del Ray, Calif; Doremus in San Francisco and New York; and incumbent NeoBrands in Costa Mesa, Calif., which is pitching with Young & Rubicam in Irvine.

The Denver client cut Leo Burnett, Chicago; Martin/Williams, Minneapolis; McClain Finlon Advertising, Denver; and Merkley Newman Harty & Partners, New York, from the competition.

Presentations will be held this month. A decision is expected shortly thereafter.
