SAN FRANCISCO – Vice president/senior art director Ted Barton and associate creative director Tom Gilmore have left Hal Riney & Partners here. The moves follow the resignation of Sam Pond, a senior copywriter who recently joined Hoffman/Lewis, Oakland, Calif. Jeff Odiorne, formerly with Goldberg Moser O’Neill/S.F. was named to replace Pond. Replacements for Gilmore, who joined GSD&M/Austin, Texas, and Barton, who joined Tracy-Locke/Dallas, where he’ll work with David Fowler, have not yet been named. The moves appear to be coincidental to the arrival of president Tony Houghton and national creative director Joe O’Neill.
