Seminoles Award Hotels, Casinos to YPB&R

ATLANTA Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell said it has added The Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos to its client roster without a review.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., shop said it will handle advertising and marketing programs for the client’s locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Fla. YPB&R said the goal of its efforts would be making the two properties Florida’s premier resort destinations.

Both sites are owned and operated by the Hollywood-based Seminole Tribe of Florida, and its Tampa casino and restaurants are currently open, the agency said. The Tampa hotel is scheduled to open in March. The Hollywood location, which opens in May, will include a 300,000-square-foot entertainment center, restaurants, nightclubs and a Seminole Tribe cultural center, museum and gift shop.

YPB&R said an ad campaign is still in the development stages, but that the first work is expected to coordinate with the spring openings of both hotel properties. Billings were not disclosed.
