San Jac College Enrolls Rives Carlberg

DALLAS Rives Carlberg has been hired to handle advertising for San Jacinto College in Houston, the client said.

Houston-based Rives Carlberg will provide media planning and buying as well as creative development to help increase enrollment at the community college’s three campuses, the client said.

“Rives Carlberg has a proven track record of getting results,” said Tuesday Stanley, associate vice chancellor, marketing and enrollment management for San Jacinto College. “The selection committee was impressed with the agency’s capabilities and creativity, so we felt confident that Rives Carlberg would be a good marketing partner for San Jac.”

Initial marketing elements include live radio DJ endorsements and advertising in targeted movie theaters to promote registration. Media options will be expanded in future campaigns.

With 24,000 students, San Jacinto College offers a two-year associate degree in a variety of medical, mechanical and technical disciplines.

Independent Rives Carlberg was established in 1948 and offers advertising, public relations and interactive services.
