YP&B Lands ResortQuest, Geoagents.com
ATLANTA–Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown has added two travel-related clients, ResortQuest International and Geoagents.com.
Both companies appointed YP&B agency of record without a review.
The accounts mean an estimated $6 million in billings for the Orlando, Fla., shop.
ResortQuest is an online booking service for condominium and home rentals and sales based in Memphis, Tenn. It had been using hometown agency Thompson & Co. for its $4 million account, but “as we decided to step up our marketing efforts, we wanted to align ourselves with the leader in the travel and tourism marketing business,” said company president Jim Olin.
Launching in June, Geoagents will provide a centralized online location for travel packagers to interact with specialists.
The Olympia, Wash., firm has also created a software program that enables travel agents to gather transportation data and make bookings.
Client president John Haville said the total marketing budget would approach $2 million.
“[YP&B] has the strength and reach on both the supplier and retailer side in the travel community,” Haville said. “It was an easy choice.” K
