Interactive software publisher Activision has narrowed the list of contenders to four finalists for its estimated $4-5 million account.
The Southern California agencies are: dGWB, Irvine; Colby Effler & Partners and Tool, both in Santa Monica; and one undisclosed shop, according to Mike Agate, president of Select Resources International, the Los Angeles consultancy conducting the review.
Rubin Postaer and Associates, Santa Monica, resigned the Brentwood, Calif.-based client’s business late last year. “It just wasn’t a good fit,” said Agate, who conducted a previous review for the client early last year.
