Roster Shops Pitch Worldwide Task For General Mills

General Mills is conducting a review among three roster shops for the estimated $10-15 million ad account for unidentified brands in its snacks division, sources said.
DDB Needham in Chicago, along with McCann-Erickson and Saatchi & Saatchi, both New York, are pitching the international assignment, which does not include U.S. duties. Presentations were held over the past few weeks at the company’s Minneapolis headquarters, sources said. The client did not return calls; the contenders declined comment.
Saatchi handles cereal brands such as Cheerios here in the U.S. DDB’s domestic assignments include Betty Crocker mixes as well as cereals, including Wheaties and Oatmeal Crisp. McCann handles cereals outside the U.S. –staff reports
