Mark C. Romig has been promoted to president of Peter A. Mayer Public Relations. Romig, formerly director, will oversee the development of the firm’s public affairs department. That new unit will handle efforts related to public policy and issues management, community improvement, crisis communications and government relations. Romig retains his title as vice president of parent Peter A. Mayer Advertising of New Orleans. Joining Romig in the new department is Quincy Crawford, who holds the title of public affairs account executive.
