Rock City Gardens, a tourist attraction known for its painted roadside barns beckoning motorists to “See Rock City,” has requested proposals from 15 undisclosed midsized agencies in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee, the client confirmed last week. The budget is just under $1 million.
Located atop Lookout Mountain in Georgia, six miles from Chattanooga, Tenn., the 10-acre preserve of geologic formations and botanical gardens has views of seven states.
Rock City Gardens currently works with local Chattanooga shops on a project basis, said client marketing manager Todd Smith, adding that the agency search is part of an overall review of the 65-year-old attraction’s operations.
