NEW YORK BBDO North America CEO and worldwide president Andrew Robertson is being promoted to worldwide CEO of the BBDO network, effective June 1, the agency has confirmed.

Robertson, 43, arrived from AMV BBDO in London as North America CEO at Omnicom Group’s BBDO in New York in April 2001, and assumed the worldwide president role last year.

Worldwide CEO Allen Rosenshine, 64, would retain the chairman title.
