LOS ANGELES–Executives at Riester-Robb know their anti-smoking ads are working when parents complain that the spots give their kids nightmares.
That’s precisely the kind of reaction the Phoenix agency is getting for its latest 60-second commercial for the Arizona Tobacco Education and Prevention Program.
“A great short-term indicator for me personally is the number of threatened lawsuits I receive,” said agency president Tim Riester. “Whenever we hit one out of the park, I get a lot of threats.”
