ATLANTA The Republik said it has won advertising duties for Consolidated Shoe Co. following a review.

The Durham, N.C., independent overcame four shops to win the business. The other contenders were incumbent Letween Marketing Group of Santa Monica, Calif.; Jennings & Co. in Chapel Hill, N.C.; and Lynchburg, Va.-based shops Prototype Advertising and Web Graphics.

The privately owned shoe manufacturer, also in Lynchburg, plans to spend $2.5 million next year to promote its six shoe lines: the Nicole, Ipanema, Apepazza, Madeline, Palladium and Axxiom.
