Rainier Wins StratEdge

BOSTON Rainier has been tapped to handle advertising chores for the technology company StratEdge.

StratEdge, San Diego, specializes in making environmentally robust packages for semiconductors. The new campaign will carry the headline, “Perfectly Packaged” and will feature images of naturally occuring “packaged” items such as turtles and eggs. The ads will be tagged, “High-performance semiconductor packages and assemblies.”

The Princeton, Mass., indie shop won the business following a review of undisclosed shops, according to agency CEO Steve Schuster.

“We wanted to get across [the idea] that packaging is a key element of the semiconductor industry,” said Schuster. “We [also] wanted to reintroduce StratEdge to the industry as a provider of high-performance semiconductor packages.”

The campaign is set to break in the July issues of the Microwaves & RF and the Microwave Journal.

Rainier’s client roster also includes Texas Instruments and Synad.
