DALLAS Greyhound Lines and its agency The Richards Group are reaching out to the urban and Hispanic markets with a series of radio spots featuring comedians Wanda Sykes and Adal Ramones, the client said.

Richards, a Dallas independent, won the Greyhound account last year when the nation’s largest bus line built its marketing around a new route system that eliminated scores of small-town stops in favor of faster service between cities.

Richards, known as an innovator in radio advertising since its Motel 6 campaign featuring Tom Bodett launched in 1986, aimed for similar results for Greyhound, an agency representative said.
