BOSTON Public relations veteran Andy Hopson has joined Burson-Marsteller as president and chief executive officer of the firm’s Northeast region and its New York market leader.
Prior to this appointment, Hopson, 48, had been president and chief operating officer of Publicis Dialog since 1998. Hopson will be based at the company’s New York headquarters and will report to Chet Burchett, president and chief executive officer of Burson-Marsteller USA.
“We are very fortunate to have someone with Andy’s skills and proven track record join our team in New York,” said Burchett.
