Publicis, Freeman Prevail in Cable Review

ATLANTA Publicis Group’s Publicis in New York has landed the creative portion of TBS Superstation’s estimated $15-20 million account following a review, the client confirmed.

The shop will create an image campaign for the station as it relaunches the brand in June 2004.

Additionally, Cliff Freeman and Partners, also in New York, has been assigned creative chores for the station’s “Non-Stop Comedy Block” of shows, including Friends, Seinfeld, the June 2004 launch of Sex and the City and the debut of Everybody Loves Raymond in July.

The two shops bested MDC’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami; Omnicom Group’s Spike/DDB in New York and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco; Amoeba in Santa Monica, Calif.; and Havas’ Arnold in Boston and McLean, Va.

Time Warner owns the Atlanta-based Superstation.
