the AIDS charities benefit that 40 or so agencies have signed on for–has been postponed from May 8 to sometime in September. Apparently the New York shops that promised to donate items for the auction/ garage sale have yet to deliver the goods.
The postponement ‘will allow all the agencies that committed to the event to get behind it,’ said adman Richard Kirshenbaum, who is co-chairing the event with Jerry Fields Associates’ managing director, Sharon Spielman.
The Kirshenbaum, Bond & Partners chief creative officer said shops are encouraged to buy booth space and sell items such as props from a shoot.
