People’s Choice to Honor CLIO Gold Favorite

NEW YORK People’s Choice and Nielsen Business Media are offering entertainment enthusiasts the opportunity to present a People’s Choice Award to their favorite gold winner from the 2008 CLIO Awards.

An online poll will be posted on featuring five winning ads from Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, Guinness, Petronas, Sony Bravia and Sony Walkman.

The People’s Choice Award will be presented to the winner during a reception to be held in February 2009 in New York that will kick off CLIO’s 50th anniversary celebration. Participants can sign up at no cost to be a People’s Choice community member at, enabling them to cast their vote.

The CLIO Awards, produced by Nielsen Business Media, is a global competition for advertising, design and interactive. The 50th annual CLIO Awards will be held in May 2009.
