Organic Taps N.Y. GM

BOSTON Interactive communications agency Organic said it has named Minna Rhee svp, gm of its New York office, where she succeeds Adam Turinas, who remains with the Omnicom Group shop as svp, client engagement and managing director on the Bank of America business.

Both report to Organic CEO Mark Kingdon.

“Our New York office has experienced tremendous momentum over the last year, with several new clients and an infusion of fresh talent,” said Kingdon. “With Minna now focused on leading the office and Adam overseeing the Bank of America relationship, one of our largest clients, we are now well positioned for the next phase of our growth.”

Rhee joined from Avenue A/Razorfish, where she led several accounts such as Cigna and Pfizer as client director. (Microsoft yesterday completed its $6 billion acquisition of Avenue A/Razorfish parent aQuantive.) Prior to that, Rhee was vp, gm at Viant/Divine, overseeing the company’s New York pharmaceuticals practice. She has also worked at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), Security Pacific National Bank and James Capel & Co.
