OpenSkies Selects Taxi for Summer Launch

NEW YORK Taxi’s office here said it has been chosen by OpenSkies, a new premium transatlantic airline from British Airways, for advertising services.

BA has filed for regulatory approval to begin New York to Paris flights this summer.

“We felt that Taxi New York was a good match for us both creatively and culturally,” said Dale Moss, client managing director, in a statement. “From lie-flat seats in business class to extensive entertainment options and a creative, healthy menu, we are passionate about bringing a new customer experience to premium transatlantic travel.  We’re excited to partner with Taxi to help communicate our story.”

Taxi will develop a brand positioning and fashion OpenSkies’ launch campaign.

“The OpenSkies agreement has reshaped the landscape for international aviation and our goal is to help OpenSkies establish a fresh voice in this new marketplace,” said John Berg, president of Taxi’s New York office.
The OpenSkies campaign will break in early summer. Horizon Media in New York will handle buying chores. Ad spending was not disclosed.
