Online Service Firm EarthLink Network Targets 7 Shops

Online service provider EarthLink Network has hired consultancy Select Resources International to find an ad agency.
“We’re working with them to identify an agency within California to assist them with a project,” said Catherine Bension, senior partner at SRI, Los Angeles. EarthLink now handles most ad duties in-house.
SRI has invited seven California agencies to meet with executives from the Pasadena, Calif.-based company. They are: Publicis & Hal Riney and Citron Haligman Bedecarrƒ, both San Francisco; BBDO West, Mendelsohn/Zien and DDB Needham, all Los Angeles; Ground Zero, Santa Monica; and Team One Advertising, El Segundo.
