Omnibank Selects Blue Shoe Marketing

DALLAS Blue Shoe Marketing has picked up the advertising account of Omnibank, the shop said.

The Austin, Texas, agency was selected following an informal review involving undisclosed shops, a BSM representative said. Paradigm Communications in Houston previously represented the commercial bank.

“Blue Shoe Marketing understands our customer and what we need to achieve from a business and marketing perspective,” said Julie Cripe, president of Omnibank.

BSM will develop and implement marketing strategy and positioning, plan and place media, develop collateral and advertising materials, as well as oversee the bank’s marketing communications and public relations campaigns, the agency said.

The first campaign is expected to break early next year and will run in the Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Victoria, Texas markets, the shop said.

Account billings were not released.

With assets of $325 million, the independent Omnibank is headquartered in Houston, with offices in San Antonio, Austin and Lockhart, Texas.
