Office Depot has shifted its $40 million-plus U.S. broadcast buying duties to Omnicom’s OMD from Havas’ Media Planning Group, an MPG rep said. OMD sister shop BBDO already handles creative duties, and Office Depot chose to consolidate advertising and media duties within Omnicom, sources said. The chain spends $100 million annually on media, according to CMR.
