Ackerman McQueen is set to open an office in London within 30 days, its second overseas outpost and eighth worldwide.

The Oklahoma City, Okla., shop formed an international division in December 2001 after theme-park company Six Flags consolidated its $80 million global creative account with it (Interpublic Group’s Initiative Partners, Los Angeles, handles the client’s media buying.)

Taking over as president of the international division is David Lipson, who keeps his title of evp/creative director and managing director of Dallas and San Francisco, which also handle international work.
