N.J. Wants Agency to Lure Businesses

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has launched a search for an agency to create a $5 million campaign that would market the state as a premier base for businesses, particularly biotech, pharmaceutical and financial-services companies. This is the first such effort, and it will likely include TV, radio and print, as well as collateral, an authority rep said. RFPs will be available Thursday at the authority’s offices in Trenton, as well as online at www.njeda.com/mp. They are due back by July 23. A decision is slated for September.
