ATLANTA Evergreen Investments today launched a new national broadcast and print campaign that highlights the success of its investment strategies.

Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Winston-Salem, N.C., which has held the account since 2003, produced the work. Mullen’s previous campaigns focused on building brand awareness for Evergreen.

“This year’s campaign follows a natural evolution beyond brand development, recognizing that performance is a key driver in investment decisions by highlighting several specific product solutions that may help investors reach their long-term investment goals,” said Maryann Bruce, president of Evergreen.

Spots began running today on cable networks including ESPN and USA. Print ads will appear in The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments and Registered Rep.

Boston-based Evergreen is the brand name Wachovia uses for its investment management business. Evergreen manages more than $247 billion in assets for more than 4 million people.

Campaign spending was undisclosed, but Evergreen spent $7 million on advertising in 2004, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
