LOS ANGELES Microsoft’s MSN has cut to four finalists in the review for its estimated $15-20 million direct marketing account, according to Select Resources International, the consultancy overseeing the process.

Contending are Omnicom’s Targetbase in Irving, Texas; independent Brierley & Partners in Los Angeles; and Interpublic Group agencies directDeutsch in Marina del Rey, Calif., and Draft in Chicago, said SRI in West Hollywood, Calif.

There had been four other semifinalists, including the incumbent, independent Innis Maggiore Group in Canton, Ohio, that did not advance.
