NEW YORK Carat Fusion said Scott Sorokin has joined the agency as its new president.

Sorokin, 45, comes to the Aegis Group interactive and direct agency from McCann Worldgroup’s MRM Worldwide, where he was the global account lead for Intel. Prior to joining Interpublic Group-owned MRM in 2005, Sorokin worked for two years as managing director of Modem Media’s San Francisco office. He left after merging the Modem Media and Digitas offices in San Francisco, following Digitas’ acquisition of Modem Media in July 2004.
