TEXAS BBDO Houston has appointed Paul Hunt to the new position of vice president and media director. Hunt arrives from Earle Palmer Brown in Philadelphia. Tocquigny Advertising and Design, Austin, has several new staff members: Cheryl Neeld, production manager, recently worked at T3 as a print production manager; Lynda Foster, account executive, was previously employed at Temerlin McClain in Irving; Jennifer Smith is a designer that worked as a graphic designer for Pentagram; Rebecca Fargnoli is a creative assistant and recent graduate of the University of Texas; and Courtney Buie is a part-time assistant account coordinator who studies advertising at the University of Texas. Also, Anita Townsend, production manager, previously worked at Capital Spectrum as an account manager; designer Shannon Zaninovich most recently was at David Carter Design in Dallas; Ryan Edmonson has arrived as a writer from the Lee Tilford Agency; Nicole Baum, account coordinator, is a former senior account representative at the Daily Texan; and Jessica Crawford, account coordinator, is a recent graduate of the University of Texas. Fort Worth-based Payne Advertising and Design has recruited Mary Jane Debenport, recently of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, as an account executive. Two other new personnel at the agency are art director Kim Horn, a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, and office manager Janie Sears. TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group, Austin, has installed Charles Belaire, formerly with Bozell Kamstra, as an account executive. Keith Etter, art director, has joined the agency from ComCorp in Nashville, Tenn. Martha Merriell has been named senior copywriter. She is a former freelance writer and producer. Jennifer Taylor, formerly with SicolaMartin, has come aboard as art director. Stuart Bacon in Fort Worth has recruited Adele Krause as traffic manager. She had been picture and rights editor at Harcourt Brace College Publishers. InterNeed, Houston, has enlisted several new staff members. Barbara Dana has joined the marketing department as production manager. She comes to InterNeed from Page International Communications. John Scott has become a senior art director in the marketing department. Most recently, he was with Freeman Exhibit Company. Juli Cunningham has joined the public relations department as manager, from KTRH Radio in Houston. Cecelia Lala was named junior art director in the marketing department. Previously, she was with Metro Printing. Lora Hayes has joined the company's marketing and sales departments as a sales consultant. OKLAHOMA Jason Logan has joined Butler and Butler Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations in Tulsa as public relations director. Prior to joining Butler, Logan worked at Jordan Associates. Also joining the Butler team is Shea Broadus as agency coordinator. She previously worked as promotions director and on-air talent for Wright Radio Broadcasting in Weatherford. Adam Miller has moved to Hartman Communications in Tulsa as traffic and production manager. Miller formerly worked at State Service Systems and Tulsa Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitor's Bureau as a graphic designer. NEW MEXICO Rick Johnson & Company in Albuquerque has hired Karen Sue Mazur as a studio artist. She had previously worked at W.B. Saunders Company, Workman Publishing and Great American Stock Photography. Elsie Davis has joined the agency as executive assistant to the president and chairman, while Jerry Koenke was appointed human resources manager.
