The Schiller Group, Honolulu, promoted Brad Orbson to associate creative director and Chris K.F. Ching to senior art director. The Bailey Group, Oakland, hired Rhonda Olshanski as a member of the client services department.
Ken Solomon was chosen by Western Images, San Francisco, to be its executive producer.
Telemundo/KSTS-TV in San Jose named Bill Cabranes local account executive. Prior to joining Telemundo, he was an account executive at KPIX, San Francisco.
Destination Films hired Tim Palen as vice president of creative advertising. Palen, formerly of Columbia TriStar Home Video, will oversee all creative efforts at the Santa Monica-based agency, including print, broadcast and Internet advertising.
DMX, Los Angeles, appointed Sandra Eddy as director of marketing for commercial sales. Eddy will oversee development and management of branding, marketing and advertising strategy for DMX’s music division.
TH&M Advertising, Tustin, promoted Kara LaRosa to production manager from her previous position of traffic and production coordinator.
525 Studios in Santa Monica hired Leslie Sorrentino as a producer. Sorrentino began his career with the studio nearly 10 years ago. For the past three years, he worked at Post Logic as an executive producer.
Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Los Angeles, has expanded its regional office by promoting Robert B. Foster to senior vice president and Tony Cowser to account supervisor. Foster and Cowser will work together to facilitate advertising and marketing communications for the newly formed General Motors Western United States region’s Chevrolet brands.
The Gable Group, San Diego, promoted Michael Lyons and Jason Foster each to senior account executive. Joining the promotions/cause-related marketing division, Lyons is responsible for accounts in sweepstakes programs, offline and online promotions, merchandising, special events and partnership marketing. Foster, who joins the public affairs division, is responsible for account planning, research, media and community relations.
