NEW YORK The Mobile Marketing Association, a trade organization that represents advertisers, agencies and others promoting portable communications devices, has named Jim Manis its new chairman.
Manis, who is the vice president of industry development for m-Qube, a Boston wireless promotion and ad technology company, replaces Perry Allison, the former vice president of SkyGo who served as MMA chair for two years.
Before joining m-Qube, Manis held senior posts at OpenWave Systems, @mobile.com, Software.com and Westbridge International.
