NEW YORK–After a four month review of its three incumbent media shops, The Danone Group has consolidated its $55 million U.S. media business with Grey Global Group’s MediaCom, New York. MediaCom bested WPP Group’s The Media Edge North America and Aegis’ Carat, both New York.
The Tarrytown, N.Y.-based maker of Dannon Yogurt and Danone Water decided to consolidate its media back in July in response to cost pressures, sources said.
