Maybelline this week launched a new sampling program for its Great Lash mascara, offering free samples of the product to female passengers on JetBLue flights.

The cosmetics giant worked with marketing company Brand Connections, New York, to create the two-month sampling program. Brian Martin, CEO of Brand Connections, said the program targets JetBlue’s demographic, which consists of a 60-40 ratio of women to men.

“When women travel, they tend to forget to pack essentials, and even if they do, they don’t have their whole beauty kit with them.
