To publicize the Downtown NYC River to River Festival 2002, New York design firm Two Twelve Associates has created a playful campaign that includes print and bus-shelter ads, street signs, posters, and a Web site.

The free arts festival, which aims to celebrate the resilience of New York’s Lower Manhattan area, kicked off in May and will continue through September of this year.

The project is particularly significant for Two Twelve Associates, whose offices were located in Lower Manhattan before being destroyed in the Sept.
