No Longer Working Without a Net
CHICAGO-In his remarks to the American Association of Advertising Agencies in Florida last week, Procter & Gamble chairman John Pepper joked about starting an ad agency upon his retirement in September.
“First, I’d call it Pepper.com,” he said. “I’ve learned something over the last year about how to boost market cap.”
The Leap Group has apparently learned a similar lesson. The holding company last week changed its name to “Leapnet.”
“The name change more accurately reflects the nature and future of the company’s Internet advertising and development business,” Leapnet said in a release.
Leapnet’s subsidiaries, Quantum Leap, The Leap Partnership and YAR Communications, retain their names.
