WASHINGTON The House and Senate yesterday approved a $397.4 billion appropriations bill that cuts $30 million from the White House’s anti-drug media campaign.
The budget approved for the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s campaign this year is $150 million, the lowest figure since the effort began in 1998. Last year’s figure was $180 million.
The President is expected to sign the bill in the next two weeks.
