DALLAS-The New Mexico Department of Tourism renewed the contract with Albuquerque, N.M., agency Rick Johnson & Co. for its $1.4 million advertising account.
Rick Johnson, the state’s largest agency, defeated three other in-state finalists to retain the account. The decision followed a three-month review process that required a spec creative presentation and an agreement to an altered media compensation schedule. Johnson’s contract will be for four years.
