Welcome to spring, the season for hiring new planning chiefs.

A day after Fallon named Anette Lillegard to fill its chief strategy officer opening, Matt Baker has become head of planning at JWT in New York. He fills a vacancy that was left when previous planning chief Adrian Barrow shifted to global planning director in September.

Baker, who starts Monday, comes from Anomaly, where he was director of strategy and innovation on accounts such as Google and Procter & Gamble.
