The New York office of JWT has promoted cd Matt MacDonald to ecd, with oversight on the Macy’s and Diageo accounts. The office now has about a dozen ecds, each of whom functions as a group head. MacDonald joined the WPP Group shop as a copywriter in 2003 and became a cd in 2007.
