DDB Worldwide, which lost the New York State Lottery account in 1998 after 10 years, is one of 20 shops that received questionnaires last week for the client’s three-year contract, said sources. Total bill-ings are estimated at $60 million.

A letter from Connie Laverty, director of marketing and sales for the client, says questionnaires are due back Jan. 12. The contract will run from Oct. 1, 2001 through Sept. 30, 2004 “with possible extension options, for up to three additional years in one-year increments.”
