IPG said it has shifted a portion of Bank of America’s $160 million ad account from Deutsch to other IPG units. A rep for the holding company said the move was initiated by IPG, noting, “We proactively move assignments among our companies in order to continually serve the bank better.” Sources said the work moved to IPG’s Draft Worldwide and Flag, both New York. Flag adds Deutsch’s consumer TV assignment, while Draft picks up print, out-of-home, radio and direct-response TV, sources said.
