Inter/Media Adds Campbell as Group Director

LOS ANGELES Inter/Media Advertising has named Robyn Campbell to the new position of senior vice president, group account director, the shop said.

Campbell joined the independent agency this week from Interpublic Group’s Initiative Media in Los Angeles, where she held the same title and worked on Albertsons. She reports to Inter/Media president Robert Yallen.

“We’re growing rapidly and we need some senior-level people,” Yallen said. “People of Robyn’s caliber are not easily attainable. She’s very senior in our industry, very mature and she has a lot of experience.”

Campbell will oversee 10-12 account team members at the 65-person Encino, Calif., shop. She will direct accounts such as and Vonage, a broadband telephone company.

Campbell’s experience also includes serving as general manager of Initiative’s Minneapolis office. She began her career at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, working on packaged-goods accounts including General Foods Maxwell House Coffee, Kimberly-Clark and Chesebrough-Pond’s. She also helped introduce The Movie Channel, Nickelodeon and MTV.
