Tracfone, a prepaid cellular telephone service, has moved its estimated $7 million advertising account from Integer Dallas to Bernstein-Rein Advertising.
The Kansas City, Mo., agency won the business of Miami-based Topp Telecom, the operator of Tracfone, following a formal review in which the incumbent did notparticipate.
Bernstein-Rein, which handles a portion of Wal-Mart’s advertising business, was said to have won the Tracfone account on the strength of presenting co-marketing strategies between the two brands.
“Tracfone’s goal is to be in more retail locations and become an off-the-shelf service,” said Integer spokesperson Matt Savage.
