Agencies Prepare for Lite Showdown

Spearheading Y&R’s pitch, said sources, are three executives who formerly worked at BBDO Toronto, which successfully launched Miller’s Red Dog beer in 1994. Strategic presentations are due in mid-December, and creative showings a month later, sources said. Media buying remains at Starcom Media Services here. Miller spent $150 million on Lite last year, according to Competitive Media Reporting.
