Bank Jobs for Baldwin & Stone, Allen & Gerritsen

BOSTON—A pair of agencies opened bank accounts last week, as Baldwin & Stone picked up ad duties for Boston Federal Savings Bank while Allen & Gerritsen scored the Direct Federal Credit Union. Both shops won their respective assignments after separate reviews. Boston Federal had previously worked with shops on a project basis, said Jim Baldwin, president of Baldwin & Stone, Cambridge, Mass. The budget is expected to be in the low seven figures, Baldwin said. The Burlington, Mass.-based bank has branches primarily in Burlington, Lexington and Woburn. Allen & Gerritsen, Watertown, Mass., signed up with Direct Federal for advertising and direct marketing chores. Ads for the Needham, Mass., client, which had no previous ongoing agency relationship, will run primarily in local newspapers.

Washington, Barnes Join Holland Mark Unit

BOSTON—Kris Washington has joined idstudios, the interactive and direct marketing unit of Holland Mark Advertising. Washington will serve as brand director at idstudios, Boston, working primarily on Polaroid Corp. He had been with Circle.com, Boston, a unit of Havas Advertising and sister agency of Arnold Worldwide, serving as management director for Verizon and LifeFX. Caroline Barnes has joined idstudios as a senior art director; she had been with the Boston office of iXL as an associate creative director.

Lescarbeau Launches ONE in Minneapolis

CHICAGO—An agency started by former Fallon group creative director Mike Lescarbeau, who first garnered notice at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, has officially opened its doors. The startup is called ONE. Joining Lescarbeau, who will be creative director at the shop, are former Wieden + Kennedy management supervisor Tom Nowak, as director of account services; former Saatchi & Saatchi senior art director Mike Fetrow, as head of art; and former Fallon planner Marcus Fischer, who will head up planning.

Jager Di Paola Kemp Shores Up Account Team

BOSTON—Kara Fullmer has joined Jager Di Paola Kemp Design as account director. At the agency in Burlington, Vt., she will oversee Burton Snowboards, the firm’s largest account. Fullmer previously held account management posts at Man Bites Dog Design in San Francisco and Arnold Worldwide, Boston. Sean Plasse joined JDK as an assistant account manager; he had been with Second Wind, Boston.
